Byron Bay is the most easterly point in Australia.
It is approximately a 2-hour drive south from Brisbane and
10 hours from Sydney. The Gold Coast is about an hour away. |
| How do We get to Byron Bay? |
From Brisbane or Coolangatta (Gold Coast) you can
take drive or catch a bus.
Greyhound, McCafferty's or Premier Bus Lines all offer services
to Byron Bay.
From Sydney you can also catch a bus, which will take you approximately
10-12hours.
Alternatively, from Sydney you can catch a flight on Virgin,
REX or Jetstar which all fly
into Coolangatta or Ballina(25 minutes south of Byron) and
from there you can catch a bus or shuttle service. |
| What's the weather like in byron? |
In the Summer months (December-February) temp's
range from 21C to 33C.
Winter months (June-August)tend to be a little cooler with
temp's ranging from
14C-21C. |
